Western Cape tourism businesses urged to participate in climate change risk reduction survey
Recent droughts, floods and fires in the Western Cape have illustrated how vulnerable tourism businesses are to climate change-induced events.
Recognising this, the Western Cape Department of Economic Development and Tourism is embarking on an initiative to strengthen the risk reduction capacity of tourism businesses through information sharing and training.
To assist the Department and its appointed service provider to better understand existing risk reduction practices in the industry, tourism businesses operating within the Western Cape are invited to participate in this short survey.
