Tourism & sustainability: Have your say on the National Biodiversity Economy Strategy

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) has extended the comment period for the revised draft National Biodiversity Economy Strategy (NBES). This is your chance to weigh in on a key document that will shape how South Africa leverages its rich biodiversity for economic growth while ensuring environmental sustainability.

 

The NBES outlines a strategy for promoting sustainable use of our natural resources, creating jobs, and fostering community development, all while protecting our ecosystems.

 

We encourage all our members to review the revised draft NBES and submit your comments within 14 days from 22 March 2024. The Gazette notice can be accessed here.
