Tourism Safety Summit recording, presentation and volunteer survey

We are pleased to share our Tourism Safety assets and resources, accessible to anyone in the tourism trade in South Africa.
In case you missed the National Tourism Safety Summit or wish to revisit some of the discussion points, you are able to download and view below.
Thank you to industry roleplayers who have already raised their hands to volunteer for important traveller assistance.
Now that the industry-wide strategy is becoming more refined we would like to extend a further invitation for volunteers to act as Tourism Ambassadors and/or Translators. More information about these roles is available in the Summit recording above.
Please let us know if you are able to offer assistance by completing the below survey.
The SECURA Traveller Toolkit has been launched and the App is live and working (after a few tweaks).
The SECURA Traveller National Incident Centre is up and running with Hotline Number +27 83 318 2475. The service is provided through the E2 Operations Centre, an official joint crime-fighting initiative between the SAPS, Business Against Crime South Africa (BACSA) and the Private Security Industry (PSI).
The toolkit (which you can download below) provides the necessary marketing assets and information to help you communicate the key benefits of the app and encourage widespread adoption.
The App is available to travellers at R49 per download directly from www.securatraveller.co.za and is valid for 30 days. For drivers or guides, there is an annual subscription option at a significantly reduced rate of R350.
Email any queries to info@securatraveller.co.za.
Thank you to all the many many roleplayers who have worked together to make South Africa safer and the TBCSA for private sector leadership and resources.
We wish you a busy and safe season, and remember we are here to support you in case of an emergency!
