Table Mountain Cableway annual maintenance closure: 15 July - 1 September 2024

Table Mountain Cableway will close for Annual Maintenance from Monday, 15 July to Sunday, 1 September 2024. Weather permitting, we will reopen on Monday, 2 September 2024.

The extended closure aligns with the cableway’s maintenance schedule, adhering to international standards. In addition to refurbishing the outlets and enhancing the appearance of both the Top and Lower Stations, extensive work will be undertaken on the cable cars and ropes.

These enhancements aim to elevate the visitor experience upon reopening, ensuring a more enjoyable journey for all.
