SATSA Record Date Announcement
As we continue to uphold our commitment to transparency and member engagement, we are pleased to announce the official Record Date for SATSA as per our Memorandum of Incorporation and as agreed by the SATSA Board. Mark your calendars for 31 July 2024.
The Record Date is a crucial part of our governance process. It ensures that all members who are in good standing - having paid their membership fees and completed the annual review - are eligible to vote at our upcoming National Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held on 16 Aug 2024 @ 09:00. More information about the AGM will follow, but your participation is vital, as it shapes the direction of SATSA and ensures that your voices are heard in the decision-making process.
WHY THE RECORD DATE MATTERS
The Record Date is not just a procedural requirement; it reflects our dedication to maintaining a credible and active membership base. By having a specific date, we ensure that only those who have shown their commitment to the association through timely dues and active participation are given the responsibility of voting on key issues that impact the future of SATSA and the broader Southern African tourism industry.
STEPS TO ENSURE YOU ARE UP TO DATE
To be eligible to vote at the AGM, please ensure that the following are up to date by the latest close of business on 31 July 2024:
- Membership Fees: All dues must be paid in full, or payment arrangements in place.
- Annual Review: Complete the online annual review process (including Financial and Insurance Compliance), which helps us keep our records accurate and up-to-date.

All active SATSA members are displayed on the SATSA Member Directory. If you are unsure about your current standing or have any questions about your membership status, please contact the membership team as follows:
