ITFFA Announces 8th Edition of Africa's Premier Film & Tourism Investment Platform

The International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA) proudly announces the 8th edition of its globally recognized festival, set to take place on June 2 – 5th 2026. As Africa's leading platform at the intersection of film, tourism, and investment, ITFFA continues to position the continent as a dynamic hub for creative storytelling, destination marketing, and economic growth.
Now in its eighth year, ITFFA 2026 will bring together filmmakers, tourism authorities, investors, broadcasters, and policymakers from across the globe. The festival serves as a catalyst for strategic partnerships and investment opportunities, showcasing Africa's diverse destinations through compelling visual narratives.
With 438 entries from 47 countries and 120 finalists, the selected delegates will make the Bannister Hotel in Braamfontein their home for the first week of June.
Under the theme "Empowering Youth Through Digital Creativity and Tourism," the 2026 edition will place a strong emphasis on youth development, digital innovation, and skills transfer within the creative and tourism sectors. Through curated screenings, industry panels, masterclasses, and networking events, ITFFA aims to unlock new pathways for emerging talent while strengthening Africa's global competitiveness.
