Invitation: Gastronomy Tourism Framework Provincial Consultation

Industry & Government News

The development of the Gastronomy Tourism Framework (GTF) is an initiative of the Department of Tourism aimed at establishing a national framework that will result in the promotion and development of tourism gastronomy experiences across South Africa.

It will be used to showcase the country’s history, heritage, cultures and geographic and agricultural diversity through tourism with a specific emphasis on sustainable tourism ensuring the inclusion of communities and focusing on poverty alleviation, women and youth empowerment.
