Free international learning for you and your staff with Atingi

Last year, SATSA AID introduced a pilot training project to test the feasibility of online tourism training in South Africa. The project was completed in September with great success and a few caveats.

In 2023 we are ready to roll out nationwide, with the goal of helping the industry recover from its two-year hiatus.

The courses are hosted free of charge by Atingi, a digital learning platform that offers quality locally relevant teaching in emerging markets.  

Modules in the course include amongst health & safety, sustainability, socio-economic and environmental aspects of the industry. Mainly, though, it concentrates on helping participants understand the role of tourism in the economy, different careers and work opportunities, and the skills required.
