Fancourt's social responsibility platform launched

Member News

Sometimes it is hard when you have a strong desire to make a difference, but not knowing how to. It is because of this that Fancourt, in partnership with CiMSO, has launched an e-commerce type charity support website, empowering Fancourt Members, Guests, Staff and anyone actively looking to improve the lives of those less fortunate in the George area, to do so in a safe, easy manner.

Initially utilised for the much loved annual Stationery Drive benefiting the children of George and Family Welfare (the 2023 / 2024 Stationery Drive will launch at the beginning of November 2023), the website has morphed to include various products for sale, or services which could be rendered on behalf of the donor, broken down into categories of need. These include the Elderly, Children, and Families, Adult Literacy and the Enviroment.

Giving is so easy- simply visit https://fancourt.co.za/giving-back/ and click on the link to the new charity website. From there, select any charity product or service which you would like us to purchase or conduct on your behalf and add them into your shopping cart. Once ready to purchase, select the method of payment most convenient to you (secure online credit card portal via PayGate, EFT or Fancourt Members can even charge to their members account), and pay.

As with all secure e-commerce websites, users are required to log in before transacting. Fancourt Members who have already registered to access the CiMSO online golf bookings system will use the SAME email address and password to access both the online tee sheets and the charity website, therefore further registration is not necessary. Simply sign in and start your pledge.

Supporters of the Stationery Drive last year can log on using their same email address and password. Supporters new to the website can click on Don't have an account? Sign up and follow the prompts to register.

A kind note that passwords selected must be deemed strong and unique enough as per the website security system algorithm before it can be used, please ensure that your password contains capital letters and numbers to ensure its strength.

For questions regarding the registration process, general queries or further support, please contact Jenny Streicher, Executive Assistant to Fancourt Head Office on 044 804 0066 or via jennys@fancourt.co.za
