Celebrating Craig Drysdale, winner of the Empowerment Award

Craig is the Director of Inspirations Travel & Tours and a longstanding SATSA Member. He previously served as a SATSA Board Chairperson and has been heavily involved in the SATSA Tourism Business Incubator in partnership with Sigma International since its inception.

Recently, Craig won the Empowerment Award at South African Tourism's Inspirational Awards held at Africa's Travel Indaba 2024 last month.

In an interview with Tourism Update, Craig shared his insights on empowerment, particularly emphasising that he believes SMEs are the backbone of the tourism industry. He also noted that true empowerment lies in the collective progress of the industry.
