SATSA hosted a successful webinar last week to unpack tourism safety and delve into the SECURA Traveller initiative.
Promising “peace of mind in your pocket”, the newly launched SECURA Traveller initiative, in partnership with SECURA and SATIB, offers an affordable, innovative emergency medical and support service for travellers exploring the country.
In an emergency, every second counts. Tapping into SECURA’s on-demand smart tech security solution, which connects a traveller swiftly with the largest network of armed and medical response companies across South Africa, helps us to better serve our tourists.
In the SATSA Safety Plan, this nationwide coverage is further supplemented by existing programmes at provincial and national levels as well as SATSA’s specialist support team of traveller ambassadors, translators, trauma counsellors and logistics facilitators. All contribute to the three main elements of the plan, being Preparedness/Prevention, Reaction and Aftercare.
