As a valued member of SATSA’s Adventure Chapter, your commitment to delivering exceptional experiences is what sets our community apart. To elevate your visibility and market exposure significantly, we have been hard at work creating a framework to grow the Adventure Tourism Sector.
At the SATSA AGM 2023, the Adventure Tourism Code of Good Practice (CoGP) was ratified as a membership criterion for all SATSA Adventure Operators. This is a first step in upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism within the sector.

Apart from being a condition of membership, by completing the CoGP, you're not only aligning with these esteemed principles but also unlocking remarkable new benefits:
1. Join a Trusted Group of Adventure Companies
Become recognized as a '101 Adventures Compliant Product.' This designation is a testament to your adherence to excellence and you will be showcased on our brand new 101Adventures website, with a link to individual product listings on the DirtyBoots website, enhancing your visibility among adventure seekers worldwide.
Please note that the listings currently on the 101 Adventures section of the Dirty Boots site (all SATSA members who are part of Dirty Boots) will be replaced to only showcase those who have completed the CoGP. The SATSA member listing on the general Dirty Boots site will remain as is.
This also means the ability to participate in our exciting 101Adventures Competitions. The first of many was focused on the Western Cape in partnership with Wesgro and was a huge success with a staggering database of over 30,000 (POPIA-compliant and segmented) domestic adventure travellers developed through a viral social media campaign in just 3 months.
Our marketing work on 101 Adventures will continue with email subscribers (currently 30k and growing) receiving monthly newsletters themed around the A to Z of Adventures starting with A this month (Absail, Acrobranch, etc). This will be bolstered with social media posts on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
2. South African Tourism Collaboration
Achieve eligibility for inclusion in South African Tourism's campaigns, events, and exhibitions. This is a golden opportunity to showcase your offerings on prestigious platforms, reaching a broader audience eager for authentic adventure experiences.
We are currently finalising a partnership with South African Tourism to focus on marketing South Africa as a top adventure destination. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity!
3. SATSA Membership Benefits

You will also receive an updated SATSA Certificate showcasing you as a 101 Adventures product.
