Up to 90% Discount with Tourism Grading Support Programme Renewal Until March 2024

Amidst the ongoing strides in the recovery of the tourism sector, acknowledging the continued need for support remains crucial.

The Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, is pleased to announce the resumption of the Grading Incentive Programme effective from December 2023.

Businesses can qualify for an up to 80% discount by submitting necessary documents, including a valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate, relevant business registration documents, and public liability insurance.

To qualify for up to 80% discount, you are required to submit the following documents:

  • A copy of a current and valid SARS Tax Clearance Certificate
  • A copy of identity document (ID)
  • A copy of relevant business registration documents i.e. company registration document (for CC’s and Private Companies)/partnership Agreement (for Partnerships)/ trust Deeds (for Trusts) identification Document (for Sole Proprietors)
  • A certified copy of B-BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (in the case of Exempt Micro Enterpris (EME) to Qualifying Small Enterprise (QSE) with more than 51% black shareholding); and
  • A copy of public liability insurance

TOMSA members receive an additional 10% discount. New applications can be initiated at www.tourismgrading.co.za by 14 February 2023.

Existing customers with grading renewals expiring between 1 April 2023 and March 2024 are eligible for renewal and can activate this benefit by contacting their assessor.
