Earlier this year you would have received an email from our SATSA Chairman, Gavin Courtenay, regarding a possible structural and operational conflict between a non-profit company set up by SATSA back in 2003 and the constitution of the Association itself.
While SATSA has received legal advice on this crucial matter, we would like to get every member involved in the process of establishing how best we can take our Association forward.
With this in mind, we will be embarking on a country-wide roadshow, visiting every province to engage with members so that we can get your views and suggestions in terms of SATSA’s next steps.
Invitations with further details will follow in due course, but in the meantime, please diarise the below dates:
- Western Cape (Chapter Meeting) – 27 June
- Eastern Cape (Chapter Meeting) – 28 June
- Limpopo (AGM) – 29 Junes
- Mpumalanga (AGM) – 30 June
- Free State (Chapter Meeting) – 4 July
- KwaZulu-Natal (AGM) – 5 July
- Gauteng (Chapter Meeting) – 6 July
We look forward to engaging with you in the coming weeks on this issue and working together to find a resolution that takes your views into account.
