What is tsi?

tsi is a crime prevention and victim support programme for the Tourism industry in South Africa.

tsi is a national project working closely with Business Against Crime South Africa (BACSA) and other tourism industry partners such as the Southern Africa Tourism Services Association (SATSA), and the Southern African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (SAVRALA).

By using combined resources tsi can do much more to assist the South African Police, and to measure the impact of crime on the Tourism industry.

By working together, the industry partners can:

• share information that can lead to arrests, prosecution, and conviction
• create better knowledge of how and where crime affects Tourism
• enable the police to react immediately
• ensure that victims of crime are properly supported
• bring crime figures down
