Live the Journey is a well-established brand in the South African outbound travel market. We are looking for a Travel Consultant who is eager to learn, grow, and build a career within our dynamic team.

As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for managing travel programmes for FIT (Free Independent Traveller) clients – from handling initial inquiries and preparing quotes to making reservations, processing payments, and delivering final travel documents.

 


 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
  • Previous experience in inbound or outbound travel will be an advantage.
  • A tertiary qualification in tourism will count in your favour, but it’s not essential.
  • Candidates from other client-facing industries are also encouraged to apply. If you’re sharp, service-driven and eager to learn, you’ll quickly master the inner workings of the travel industry.
  • Strong team player who can perform well under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Able to work independently, with strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a high work ethic.

 


This is an office-based position in Wellington. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate.
