Volunteer Southern Africa offers volunteers the opportunity to explore Southern Africa as more than a tourist – our volunteers become immersed in the culture by working with locals and other international volunteers to help preserve and benefit the wildlife and local community in an ethical and safe environment.

Our company has been in business for almost a decade and has partnered with responsible and ethical animal conservation and social development programs across Southern Africa. As an organization our highest priority is to ensure that each program we work with benefits from the support of volunteers both financially and through service work. With hundreds of programs being available, we want to ensure that our volunteers are participating and supporting programs whose greatest importance is animal, environmental and social conservation.

Volunteer Southern Africa proudly offers a number of volunteer projects that cater to your wildlife preferences. Certain projects focus on big cats like lions and cheetahs while others let you focus on helping children and orphans. No matter which cause you hold closest to your heart, our South African Volunteer experiences will change you while you help change the world.
